Beautifully hand carved from Yak bone. The Skeleton dance is a sacred Tibetan dance ritual in Buddhist lineages.
It is intended to reflect the transient nature of things, the dance signifies the liberation that comes from acceptance
of impermanence. The skeletons depicted in the dance are Chitipati, a pair of lovers known as the Lord and Lady that
represents the eternal dance of the death and attainment of perfect consciousness.
